Robert Daoud’s maiden voyage into law was instructing counsel for the family in the Brimble Coronial Inquest. Since then, he owned and operated Sydney’s premier mentions practice, appearing in thousands of matters in every jurisdiction.
Robert went on to specialise in Criminal Law and Traffic Law, and is a fierce advocate for his clients, obtaining the best possible outcomes in their cases including countless section 10s on guilty pleas; a suspended sentence for a $1 million fraud; and most recently, a not guilty verdict in the Queensland bikie ‘super trial’. Robert has also appeared on television, radio and print media with reference to his matters or on request of his legal opinion.

Sam is a criminal law solicitor with an extensive corporate background. He has appeared in the Local, District and Supreme Courts dealing in a variety of matters, and has briefed numerous barristers, including Senior Counsel for Trials and Appeals.
Sam appears in matters relating to traffic offences, domestic offences, drug offences and assaults. He has been successful at Sentence and Hearings relating to traffic offences and personal violence offences and has achieved excellent outcomes for his clients.
He has also made numerous successful applications to the Attorney-General’s Department for the remission of driver license disqualification and annulment of convictions.
Marie-Clare primarily handles the practice’s Legal Aid matters, including drugs, weapons, assault, firearms and fraud offences in the State and Commonwealth jurisdictions. She appears in the Local Court in bail applications, defended and sentence hearings, contested committals and section 32 applications, and in the District Court in severity appeals and instructing Counsel at trial.
Prior to admission, Marie-Clare worked as a paralegal for several years at small firms specialising in civil and commercial matters. During a university placement at the Macquarie Legal Centre she developed an interest in issues related to criminal law and access to justice, and spent time volunteering at the Marrickville Legal Centre.
Ben’s first contract in criminal law practice was with a small criminal law firm in Burwood. The matters in which he was involved varied from small scale possession of prohibited drugs, and mid-range PCA, to aggravated break and enter, and serious child sexual assault, the latter of which resulted in the withdrawal of charges in their entirety. Previously, Ben worked with the pro bono legal sector as a solicitor with the Humanitarian team at Salvos Legal where he managed multiple and voluminous matters across a broad spectrum of legal matters
